Handshake User Agreement

By using Handshake through the UC Davis Career Center, you agree to the following terms:

  • Provide Accurate Information: You must enter truthful and complete information about your education, experience, and qualifications in your Handshake profile, resume, and any job search materials you upload.

  • Keep Your Profile Updated: Ensure your major, school year, graduation date, and UC Davis email address are accurate. Most information is imported from the university system; if updates are needed, contact the appropriate campus office.

  • Resume Release Authorization: You authorize the UC Davis Career Center to share your resume with employers you select in Handshake or through on-campus Interviewing, if applicable.

  • Follow Interview Policies: If you participate in on-campus interviews, you agree to follow all related policies and procedures.

  • Maintain Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Handshake login and password. Misuse of your account, whether by you or others, may result in loss of access. Report any unauthorized use immediately to the UC Davis Career Center.

Access and Use

Handshake is provided by the UC Davis Career Center for the exclusive use of enrolled UC Davis students, eligible alumni, postdocs, and approved users. Access is a privilege and may be revoked at the discretion of the Career Center.
