Andrea Hanson serves as interim executive director at the Career Center and has worked in career services for more than two decades. She started her role on the Health and Biological Sciences team as an advisor and has served on many teams at the Center. In her most recent role as an associate director, Andrea oversaw teams including: the Employer Engagement and Engineering and Physical Sciences teams. Before joining UC Davis, Andrea was a career counseling intern and career counselor at  UC Berkeley’s Career Center. Andrea is a California native and grew up in the Bay Area. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and women’s studies from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, and a Master of Arts in career development from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California. She is a certified Gallup Strengths coach, etiquette facilitator and life coach.
